Coffee Rides

Free, small, early, social.

Coffee Rides are informal community spins, not tours. The pace should feel welcoming but road-bike minded: steady rolling, regrouping when useful, and a proper coffee stop before the island gets too hot.

  • Usually 35-55 km from Ubud
  • No fee, no guiding promise, no support car
  • Best for riders comfortable on open roads

About

A field guide first. A brand later.

Velo Bali is starting as a hobby/community project: a concise route library and a lightweight way for visiting riders to find better roads around Ubud. The value is local judgement: when to leave, which roads to avoid, where to refill, and where the coffee is worth stopping for.
